Our Programs

As with each school in the York Region District School Board, Doncrest P.S. supports student learning through the curriculum standards set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education and many other co-curricular activities.

Our school

• is committed to creating, sustaining and fostering caring, inclusive, and safe learning environments which promote student learning, achievement and well-being
• is focused on ensuring that each student has the right to learn in a safe, positive, respectful, and identity-affirming inclusive environment free from harassment and discrimination, where every effort is made to mitigate risk or the potential for harm so each student can reach their full potential
• provides Special Education Programs to support the achievement and well-being of all learners
